Jax

Big Boss Lady & Fun Facilitator

Miss Jacqueline has loved all things drama since she was a young girl. Having participated in MAD theatre group and Scottish Youth Theatre as a child she went on to get a drama degree and a postgraduate in education. She's worked with children locally and internationally. She also acted, directed, and co-produced a variety of shows for the Hanoi International Theatre Society when she lived in Vietnam.

Since returning to Scotland she created Dramatix Club, a dream she had if she ever returned home. Did you know, she has a small scar on her hand from a baboon bite, and is addicted to chilli!?

Carla

Tech Manager & Fun Facilitator

Miss Carla has acted and danced since she was very little. She performed with The English Youth Ballet and many panto and musical theatre groups before graduating from university with a dance and stage degree. She has taught performance since she was a teenager with a focus on musical theatre and she took a break to do some adulting ... but thankfully she's back to inspire and have loads of fun while doing it!

Miss Carla heads up our nursery drama classes and our Fordoun after-school groups.

Did you know she can make her eyebrows dance and loves to make up stories!?

About Us

Dramatix Club is a drama program for children and young adults to not only develop their acting but also their life skills. Whether your child wants to act, make new friends, or try a new hobby then come join our club.
Our classes are full of creativity, fun, imagination, energy and allow all students the opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment. We aim to help children develop:-

Acting skills   |   Confidence in themselves   |   Positive attitude.

Communications skills   |   Expression   |   Effective social interaction

During our classes, students will experience a range of activities such as; games, storytelling, movement, mime, dance, improvisation, script work and performing. There is no pressure on students to perform during sessions if they are not ready, however with the goals of our classes it'll be a short time until all students are volunteering to perform first!
Classes are run during school terms with a small performance in class at the end of every 2nd term.
